Steelers on pace for worst loss under Mike Tomlin

The Bills now lead the Steelers 38-3 with 14:03 left in the game. If the score holds, it would be the biggest loss for Pittsburgh since Mike Tomlin's first season as head coach in 2007.

Per Stathead, the Steelers have lost by 28+ points only four times in the Mike Tomlin era, with the last one being a 41-10 loss to Cincinnati last season.

Justin Jefferson matches Randy Moss, Lance Alworth

Vikings WR Justin Jefferson just set a career high with his 12th catch of the day against the Bears. He has 12 grabs for 154 yards, and the Vikings are driving down one point in the fourth.

It's Jefferson's sixth career 150-yard receiving game. Per the NFL, that's tied with Hall of Famers Randy Moss and Lance Alworth for the most in a player's first three seasons.

Wide right!

Jason Sanders' 54-yard field-goal attempt for the Dolphins goes wide right with just over 13 minutes left in the fourth quarter.

Jets hold their 19-17 lead.

Falcons get on board with Avery Williams rush TD

Tariq Woolen picks off Andy Dalton

Fifth-round rookie cornerback Tariq Woolen continues to make plays for the Seahawks.

After recovering a fumble earlier, he just made his third interception in three games, undercutting an Andy Dalton pass intended for Tre'Quan Smith.

Saints lead the Seahawks 24-19 in the third quarter.

Bills-Steelers getting chippy

We have a fight in Buffalo. Steelers QB Kenny Pickett was hit while sliding, and guard James Daniels responded with a big hit of his own, setting off a fracas.

Bills S Damar Hamlin hit Pickett, and Daniels responded by decking Hamlin. Players from both teams then got involved on the sideline. Hamlin was not penalized for the hit on the sliding Pickett, while Daniels and fellow Steelers offensive lineman Kevin Dotson were both penalized 15 yards.

Major week for fantasy running backs

Week 5 already has two running backs with 30+ PPR points (Bucs' Leonard Fournette and Chargers' Austin Ekeler). That equals the single-week high for RBs with 30+ PPR points and with three other RBs at the 22+ or higher (Derrick Henry, Dalvin Cook, and Nick Chubb), Week 5 could set the new pace for elite PPR RBs this year.

Titans connect on big play, take lead on Commanders

The Commanders have had issues preventing explosive plays all season long, and the issue strikes again, as Titans wideout Nick Westbrook-Ikhine got free for a 61-yard gain.

That set up Derrick Henry's 1-yard touchdown run, and Washington trails, 21-17 in a see-saw game.

Pat Patriot looking sharp on New England throwbacks

The Patriots are wearing their red throwbacks today against the Lions. Who doesn't love the look of Pat Patriot?

Dyami Brown gives Commanders lead on Titans

What a day for Dyami Brown. The 2021 third-round pick entered Sunday with 13 catches for 171 yards and no touchdowns in 19 career games. Today alone, he has two grabs for 105 yards and two touchdowns, after making a gorgeous one-handed grab for a 30-yard score.

Washington retakes the lead, 17-14.

Lions defense taking hit after hit

The Lions' defense has suffered five injuries at defensive back today: Saivion Smith, Will Harris, Jeff Okudah, DeShon Elliott and Ifeatu Melifonwu.

Okudah is on the sideline trying to work out a shoulder/arm injury; Elliott was carted off with a leg injury; Melifonwu came in to replace Elliott and immediately took a hit and walked to the sideline to be examined. Seventh-round rookie Chase Lucas then came in at safety.

The Patriots took advantage, with Jakobi Meyers catching a 24-yard TD pass from Bailey Zappe to help the Patriots go up 26-0.

Steelers CB Levi Wallace helped off field, enters concussion protocol

The Steelers' secondary was already struggling, and things could be getting worse with CB Levi Wallace going down.

Wallace got hit hard by a Bills offensive lineman on the last play. The Steelers are already missing two CBs today in Cam Sutton and Ahkello Witherspoon. Wallace walked off with assistance and is now in concussion protocol.

Josh Allen stretching field against Steelers

Bills QB Josh Allen has thrown for 269 yards on vertical passes against the Steelers (vertical being aerials traveling 11+ yards downfield).

That is the third-highest single-game total of his career and is only 35 yards away from setting a career high for Allen.

Cowboys inactives vs. Rams

Notable that safety Jayron Kearse is active (as expected). Also active (again): WR Michael Gallup and TE Dalton Schultz.

Cardinals pregame fits

Cardinals QB Kyler Murray and WR Hollywood Brown make a real statement when arriving at the stadium today to take on the Eagles.

49ers inactives vs. Panthers

The 49ers inactives today mostly are injured. The exception is Marlon Mack, who was added after Elijah Mitchell's Week 1knee injury but who has not had a carry with the 49ers. The running backs, in order, against Carolina will be: Jeff Wilson Jr., Tevin Coleman and rookie Jordan Mason. Deebo Samuel, of course, also is likely to get some carries.

49ers inactives vs. Panthers

  • T Trent Williams
  • DT Arik Armstead
  • DT Javon Kinlaw
  • RB Tyrion Davis-Price
  • S Tarvarius Moore
  • TE Tyler Kroft
  • RB Marlon Mack

The inactive list means that rookie guard Nick Zakelj is in uniform for the first time this season. He might be the backup at left guard. Newcomer Blake Hance will be the backup tackle today.

With Armstead and Kinlaw out, the interior defensive linemen will be Kevin Givens, Hassan Ridgeway, Akeem Spence, Kerry Hyder and Charles Omenihu.
